Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your full refund or trade-in value will be processed in just a few days. You will be mailed either a company certified check or an official Safari Diamond trade-in certificate for the full purchase price upon successful return processing. Please allow up to four weeks from the time you ship your item for your return to be processed.

Here’s How it Works:

Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Please note that items showing signs of wear* or those that have been altered, resized (by a jeweler other than Safari Diamond), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Engraved and/or custom jewelry may be returned until the same guarantee policies above; however, the engraving fee is non-refundable. Returns without a Safari Diamond return code, or packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.

* Note: With our lifetime trade-in policy, normal wear and tear and/or minor abrasion of stones is usually acceptable. However, it is at the sole discretion of Safari Diamond’s specialists to determine if damage is above expected wear and tear, and whether the piece of jewelry or stone is thus acceptable for return.


Preparing Your Return

To return a diamond or jewelry item to Safari Diamond, follow our simple three step process:

  1. Your Return Authorization Code. Call 800-710-2737 and you will be given a unique Return Authorization Code. Write this code on the return sticker found at the bottom of your original invoice. Affix the sticker to the outside of the box you are returning. Also, write this code in black ink on the bottom of your original invoice. Be sure to include the original invoice when you return the item. Package Your Return. Include ALL original packaging and collateral material. If your item was delivered with a diamond certification and that certificate is not returned, you may be liable for the $250 replacement cost. The original Safari Diamond Journey Documentation must also be returned undamaged. Please note: For security reasons, do not write Safari Diamond anywhere on the outside of the box.

  3. Ship and Insure Your Package*. When shipping, you must insure your package for the full purchase price, as shown on the original invoice. Please contact Safari Diamond for items valued at over $25,000 for special shipping arrangements. We also highly recommend you request a delivery confirmation receipt for your own records. The following shipment carriers and methods are acceptable:
    • United States Postal Service (USPS),
    • Federal Express (FedEx), or United Parcel Service (UPS).
    • For your protection and more timely processing, we recommend overnight or priority shipping. Safari Diamond is not responsible for any shipping or insurance costs on any returned items.
